2009 Louisiana Super Senior Local/State Tournament

October 2,3,4,5 in Shreveport, LA

60’s & 70’S Men & Women   Levels:  2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, plus 60’s 4.5

·        All matches will be played on Clay courts

·        All teams will play at the State Tournament—no local leagues

·        This is a team event—all players must be on a registered team 

·        Must reach the age of 60 (or 70) on or before December 31, 2009

·        Must be a current USTA member through October, 2009

·        This is a team format of 3 doubles courts per match 

·        Form your team now-- teams must be registered on TennisLink  Register under the Louisiana State/Local with a minimum of 6 eligible players by Tuesday, August 25, 2009 to be included in the draw

·        If  you do not have a current USTA rating, you can self-rate on TennisLink when you register as a team member on a team

·        Each team must have a Captain—please contact me if you are unsure as to how to register your team

·        Individual registration on a team is $5.00 + $3.00 TennisLink fee

·        State tournament fees are additional $35.00 per player.   Please go to the LTA site under Adult Leagues, 2009 Super Senior for Tournament Regulations. 

·        Lunch will be served each day at each site instead of a player party.

·        Winning State teams will advance to Sectionals in Pelham, AL, March 12-14, 2010
